Born and raised on the Alabama Gulf Coast
I grew up with sand between my toes and the smell of salt water on my clothes... I realized my dreams could be as big as that seemingly endless body of water.
So, let me take a moment to give you some insight on who I am.
I am the youngest of my family. With one older brother I was lucky to learn the rules of life through him, though I made my own mistakes (and am still making them) along the way. My parents raised my brother and me with a strong, Southern upbringing. I learned responsibility, character and manners at a young age.
I owe a lot to my parents. They encouraged me to pursue my dreams and find something in life I love. My first passion came in the form of horses.
My parents recognized that passion and encouraged me to start riding. I was able to buy a horse and start showing in the English discipline when I was 12 years old. I competed in Hunter/Jumpers until I graduated high school. Riding and showing horses has been a huge part of my life and has shaped me into who I am today. I learned hard work, responsibility, discipline and accountability at a young age.
Though I had to sell my horse when I started college, upon my graduation I plan on riding again. While riding was one passion my parents supported me in, the next passion of mine came in the form of public relations. I naturally went to Auburn University in east Alabama to pursue that dream. I bleed orange and blue, and as the Auburn Creed says, "I believe in Auburn and love it." I earned my Bachelor of Arts in public relations with a minor in marketing and could not be more excited to start the next chapter of my life.
I am ready to travel, experience and take on every hurdle and opportunity that comes my way. My philosophy is that life is an adventure. Welcome change with open arms and be excited about what life throws at you. This world is meant for exploring and dreaming big. Ever since I was a child I have had an inquisitive spirit. That same spirit now is ready to find its next adventure.
